The scientific advisory board

Twenty members sit on this council, which is tasked with examining, validating and assessing the scientific content on the website.

Members are appointed and meetings convened and chaired by Laurence Engel, BnF Chair. 

For the BnF:

Isabelle Nyffeneger, Delegate for International Relations, whose position on the council is Project Leader

Members on account of their scientific expertise concerning collections bearing on the region's history and heritage

  • Sylvie Aubenas, directrice du département des Estampes et de la photographie,
  • Jean-Marie Compte, directeur du département Langue, littérature et arts,
  • Frédérique Duyrat, la directrice du département Monnaies et médailles,
  • Laurent Héricher, le chef du service des manuscrits orientaux.

  • Henry Laurens (Collège de France) ;
  • Mercedes Volait (CNRS, laboratoire InVisu).
